INFORMATION - Arctica 800 GSM
SmartLink
is a compact remote monitoring and control unit for minor and
medium AtoN ´s.Due to its small size,the unit can be installed
directly in the lantern. Thereby the installations costs are kept
at a minimum and it is easy to upgrade existing lights with remote
monitoring features. SmartLink uses an internal GSM modem to communicate
with a SCADA system by E-mail and SMS. SmartLink can read out
all status and configuration information from a SmartFlasher via
a serial port. |
For
monitoring and control of additional equipment e.g.RACON, power
supply, rotation beacons, etc... The SmartLink has 4 digital inputs,
4 digital outputs and 4 analogue inputs. The power consumption of
the unit is very low and will under normal circumstances not add
any significant extra load to the energy balance of the light. The
SmartLink can be programmed for control tasks with ArcticaTool and
the monitoring, report and alarm functions can be set-up remotely
over the SCADA system. SmartLink is approved as a SAM-subscriber
and works perfectly together with the SAM monitoring and information
system.
